I've Been On A 9-11 Documentary Binge
Lately, becuase of the approaching 5-year anniversary of the 9-11 attacks, there have been NUMEROUS TV specials and documentaries on the tube lately. Some are new, some are re-hashes.
One particularly interesting one ( in regard to the demolition theories ) was on last night on Discovery Channel. It was called "Metal of Honor - Ironworkers of Ground Zero" or something to that effect.
It was the story of all the ironworkers who came from all over the country to help remove the heaviest iron debris from the recovery site. Their job was to identify the metal supporting the piles and remove the steel by cutting and extracting it, making it easier and safer to remove the piles of debris.
There were interviews with several of them who worked 12-hour shifts for several months and were INTIMATE with the debris pile and the steel and iron girders and basically all of the debris.
And guess what?
Not a SINGLE ONE OF THEM mentioned finding ANY steel or iron which looked ANYTHING like a demolition had occurred.
How is THAT possible, conspiracy guys?
You had men with 30+ years of iron and steel working experience. Surely SOME of them in their careers had been a part of a team that removed debris from a truly demolished building or two. But amazingly, NONE of them said anything about seeing anything like that.
Seems like if there HAD been evidence of a demolition, then THESE GUYS would have seen it, what with hundreds of them spending 12 hours a day for months on the debris pile.
Any explanations for that?

My views on Bush:
He has done a job somewhere between fair and OK.
The US Presidency is not a job where anyone is going to come in and make ALL THE RIGHT DECISIONS EVERY TIME.
It has never happened, and it will never happen. The job of pleasing all the people all the time is just an impossible one.
I think Bush has done a poor job of pacifying the people who HATE him. He has most of the time just IGNORED them, when the smart political thing would be to throw them a bone every now and then. And he has tried to do that, but the Haters just don't accept the bones. But a lot of that is not his fault, because the Haters just won't have any of it.
Where Bush has done a great job is STICKING TO HIS CONVICTIONS. He has a set of morals by which he lives, and that is something that 100% of the USA, regardless of political affiliation, needs to emulate.
He believes in the war on terror. He believes in the sanctity of life in the womb. He believes that Democracy is the best way to govern a country. He believes that spreading Democracy is good for the world. He believes a stable Middle East is best for America. He believes that business should not be encumbered by too much Government interference.
He is not "wishy-washy" John Kerry or "robot-like" Al Gore - he shows his emotion and feels strongly about the issues important to him. He will not waver. He will not blow around with the political winds.
He has put up with more attacks on his personality and performance than any President in history, and it just rolls off him. He is Teflon. He is strong and slick.
Could he have done a better job? Maybe. Maybe he has done the best job that the world situations have allowed him to do.

Fair and Ok? Seriously? I don't care if you don't want to look at 9-11, Afghanastan, Iraq, The Patriot Act, torture, wiretapping, illegal prison camps, his vision of spreading democracy through full spectrum domanice, and Shock and Awe. But, he allowed one thing to happen on his watch that no American with a shred of dignity can let pass. He left those people in New Orleans for a week. For a fucking week. Spin it how you will, but you look at the facts, you listen to the mayor crying on the radio, you listen to the president of jeffersons parish, crying on msnbc and you explain to me how he did an OK job. Your post is a travesty. The man signed an executive order ALLOWING him at his SOLE discretion to declare a state of emergency. He had the power to make something happen, but he made the choice to fly over, the third day? It's a shameful display of his lack of concern from the common man in this country. I don't care how you look at it, utter bullshit is what it was. Unprecidented utter bullshit. Your a part of a very Small minority in this country, you need to turn off your damn tv, and unbrainwash yourself. Look at what is happening to our country, we're losing everything our founding fathers put their necks on the line for. I'm sick of you fucking Democrats and Republicans. Where are all the fucking Patriotic Americans, what happened to challenging the status quo, to making the world a better place? What happened to caring?

Afghanistan, Iraq, Patriot Act, wiretapping, CIA prisons
All those are done to PROTECT YOU my friend. This is a new kind of war, and requires new thinking and new methods. FBI can wiretap me till Kingdom Come and you should feel the same way, as long as you are not caught planning to break the law on your phone line, right?
As far as the New Orleans thing: Why is George Bush to blame for that? Just because the buck stops with him? You seem to think he did not CARE. What happened is that there was no way to organize all the agencies together and get help down there in the middle of an UNFORESEEN CRISIS like that. Our country had never had an event LIKE THAT in modern times, that severe, and ths we were LEARNING ON THE FLY. The blame in part too is on the people who refused to evacuate, at least the healthy ones. But they probably did not realize, AS NO ONE REALIZED, the extent of the danger. Even that stupid "got re-elected by a buncha dumbasses" Mayor.
Regardless of what Bush did or did not do, the Governor of the state had all the power and MANPOWER she needed to make that situation a lot better, but things just could not be done in time, with coordination.
AS SOON AS THE TRUE SEVERITY was known, things started happening to alleviate the pain.
Blaming one man for such a combination of complicated scenarios is not right.
PS Thanks anon for calling me a good person because you got that right. But I'm not brainwashed my friend - I just see things differently than the Haters.

You should consider wathing BBC's The Power of Nightmares. Learn who these people are before you blatently support their imperilistic war. They've been doing this to us for decades, the same damn people.
Quit questioning the people that mean nothing and start questioning the people with POWER. I have nothing to gain by wasting my time on the net, I don't profit finacially, I'm just a human being that cares and has had the time to look for the honest to gods truth. Think about it, why would I think this... I don't hate Bush, I hate his actions, just like I hated clinton's actions when he was illegally spying on Americans. You have nothing to gain by protecting and defending these mens practices. So why are you so vigilant in doing so? What do you owe these men? Why are you unwilling to look at the true state of affairs today? How can you not see these dead children? How can it not break you heart? Where are teh christian values that this country is suppose to have. 75% of us believe in the christian faith, but we're open to a pre-emptive war? What ever happened to having faith, turning the other cheek or thou shall not kill? Are these just silly values of the past? Have we lost all diginity. How could you support Shock & Awe on a country that is now being cleary shown not to of ever had any TIES to these supposive terrorist. Doesn't that tell you anything? Why if we're so concerned with these terrorist have we failed to secure our borders and failed to capture any of the real terrorist? The war on terror has only accomplished one thing, destroying our constitution and giving our acting and future presidents unlimited executive power. You don't even realize that Bush holds the power to declare martial law and suspend habeas corpes. Anytime he pleases, you understand the implications of that? Do you realize the the last time this was done was during the civil war and after it was done it was specificly decided that this could NEVER be allowed to happen again? Come on, try and learn with me I have no reason to lie to you I'm not interested in lies, I'm interested in what is true and why it is. Think about the gold, if you can't figure anything else out at least understand that this american money you hold in your hand is a "Fiat" currency and it's real value is only what the market deems it. It has no real backing. The only true form of money is gold, consider getting some just incase your little world isn't quite accurate.

I blame bush for katrina because he had the power to get the federal response there and he did nothing for a week. Don't spin that, those people don't deserve that. That's the truth and it hurts really damn bad. I saw this truth with my own eyes as it unfolded. A few movies could change your whole world if you were brave enough to watch them.
Do you know who Hugo Chavez is? If you don't you should, he's an amazing man a Leader, a real and true Leader of the people. If you see nothing else see "The Revolution Won't be Televised" I'll burn you a copy if you need it. It's the most moving media I've seen in my lifetime, a film crew just happened to be there during the coup, Witness the power of TRUE democracy.

You want to bitch about the government's response to Katrina? Take a look at Indonesia's response to the Tsunami! Take a look at the Philippines response to the yearly mudslides in southern Mindanao that don't even make it to the US news media. Take a look at all that. THEN you'll see REAL lack of caring. As bad as it was - and NO, I don't defend the Bush admin's delays and terrible response - it was NOWHERE NEAR as bad as disaster response in so many other countries.

You expect me to believe Iron workers over scientists and specialists who can prove that the collapse of the twin towers could have only been done with the use of explosives. There is no possible way that everything in the towers:computers, chairs, desks, telephones, could turn into dust because of a small fire with hardly enough heat or gas to become so hot that the steel frame would melt. If you did your OWN research you would find out that there was a larger fire in the twin towers 20 years ago and the steel didn't even bend. Instead of regurgitating what the TV tells you why don't you get up and research it yourself. Then you can justifiably believe the BS you want.

Sorry, there is no SCIENTISTS who can PROVE that the towers fell from explosives. They might be able to HYPOTHESIZE or ESTIMATE or GUESS but until the PROOF OF ACTUAL EXPLOSIVES BEING USED is presented, then it's all just a GUESS.
You know who CAN prove something? The people who were THERE THAT DAY and who were cleaning it up for months afterward. None of those people (other than a few isolated haters) say they think there were explosives, or that any explosive remnants were found.
There are far, FAR more "experts" who have worked on this data who say there was no demolition than there are "scientists" who think there WAS hanky-panky of that sort.

Notice how most of the "truthers" totally ignore the original topic of the post and change the subject. The only guy that addressed it totally dismissed the iron workers based on a poorly conceived "scientific" theory proposed by someone that was never there and has no expertise in the areas of demolition or civil engineering. Typical.

I myself have stopped trying to convince those who are not open-minded to the idea that people can do evil things and believe what they are told. All you can do is put the word out there and hope that they take that leap and go dig and research for themselves. I hate to make a reference to a movie but it's like the Matrix in which you can choose the red or blue pill. Take one pill and you can continue to live blindly in the bliss of ignorance or the other and you can see things for what they really are. So just research for yourselves and stop using heresay to back up your arguments that you hear from the news media. I personally would love to hear some counterpoints with validity against the WTC demolition theory so I could sleep better but I haven't heard any.

Regarding the steel workers not noticing anything odd, do you think they'd just bring in any demolition crew?
Why was the steel sent off for recycling so quickly, before it could be looked at by investigators?
When a plane goes down, the FAA attempts to reconstruct it, to determine the cause of the crash (even when the reason seems clear). Here, every effort was made to block an investigation. Evidence was removed and destroyed before investigators had a chance to see it. Why? What purpose did that serve?
Whereas the steel was quickly removed, one image of a single steel column is telling. It's cut at a 45% angle, and shows clear signs of molten metal at the "cut" line, exactly what you see in a controlled demolition. Steel doesn't melt at 1300-1800 degrees.
Countless survivors of the towers spoke of massive explosions throughout the building, including the sub-levels. Would a plane hitting the top of the building cause explosions in the sub-levels and throughout the floors of the building?
Think. Don't just believe everything you are told. If you can explain these things, we might all sleep a little better.

Like my post said: There were hundreds of workers, and thousands of pictures were taken. Not one blasting cap, not one strand of demolition wire, not ANYTHING, not ANYTHING, turned up.
If it was demolished, it was done using demolition equipment that VAPORIZES ITSELF on detonation.
HMMMM....new wacko theory invented : They demolished it with INVISIBLE DEMOLITION EQUIPMENT !!!
I just watched the History Channel's "9-11 Conspiracies" documentary last night, and it just served to reinforce my ideas about how wacko many of the "troofers" really are. They are flippin "OUT THERE" man !!!
All those questions asked by anonymous on 8-20 have already been answered in my blog and others. Look it up.
